Beth Hall

I bring a diverse background in dressage and music to the art of dressage freestyle design. My music education gives me the skill to edit music which is second to none.

I hold a BS in music from the University of Vermont and MM from UMass Amherst where I acted as Assistant Director of Bands on a full fellowship. I taught flute at the University of Mobile for a number of years and played principal flute in their orchestra. I've performed as soloist with many ensembles, including the Magnolia Chamber Orchestra and the Baldwin Pops.

While in graduate school at UMass, I studied dressage and eventing with Susan Blinks and Sarah Geikie during their tenures as Director of Riding. Other important teachers include Dutch trainer, Jos Sevriens, and "S" dressage judge, Arlene Rigdon. I'm a graduate of the USDF "L" Education Program and judged dressage shows for many years. At my Woodwind Farm, I bred and trained Swedish Warmblood horses, taught dressage lessons, took horses in training, and hosted dressage shows.

I honed my audio engineering skills producing freestyles with master engineer, Dr. David Durant, for more than 10 years.
